Totally Techniques Blog Hop - Collage Stamping

I'm Lynsay Mahon, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I've been a craft instructor with Stampin' Up! Canada for over 22 years. I love to share techniques and projects with all of you.
This month, our technique is "Collage Stamping." This is such a great way to add textures to your greeting cards and scrapbook pages. You can use stamps, paper, embossing folders, paste, watercoloring... the options are truly endless!
Here are the steps I like to use on my collage projects:
Colour the background. You can use ink refills to watercolor, blending brushes, or even designer series paper to create this effect!
Add some stamping. I like to choose images that are more design focused such as lines, squiggles, dots or more.
Add some texture. This can be with embossing folders, embossing paste or die-cuts.
Finish with a central image. I like to use die-cut images and include the greeting card theme in the central image.
