Why Did I Buy This? Decorative Masks
Today’s “Why Did I Buy This?” Episode 7 focused on Stampin’ Up!’s Decorative Masks. These masks are used to create textured backgrounds and work well with ink and Embossing Paste.In today's video I shared 5 different ways you can use your Decorative Masks.Here's a look at the projects that I made. The first project I shared, uses the Pattern Party Decorative Masks to create the clouds. The addition of Champagne Shimmer Paint gives the illusion of the sunset shining off of the clouds:
The second project highlights my beloved Happy Tails stamp set (retiring June 2). This technique uses a watercolor wash on the Fluid 100 watercolor paper with Silver embossing paste over the Pattern Party Decorative Masks.
The third card was one I shared in yesterday's blog hop, using the Reverse Masking technique and the Shimmery White Embossing Paste and the BASIC PATTERN DECORATIVE MASKS.
And the final set of projects was inspired by a technique created by my friend Leah Fedynak. She designed a fun way to create a donut card using the Painted Poppies stamp set!
Once I started making these donut cards, I've had a hard time stopping! They are so fun!
