When You LOVE Texture on your Paper Projects…

If you wanted EXTRA texture… this is the trick that takes them over the top. Double embossing adds depth, shine, and serious wow-factor.

What is Double Embossing?

Double embossing starts with a dry embossing folder and adds an extra layer with embossing powder over the dry-embossed background. The result?
• Richer texture
• More dramatic shine
• A card that looks far more complicated than it is!

Here’s how you can achieve the Double Embossing Technique

Run your cardstock through an embossing folder.
Lightly drag VersaMark or Craft White Ink across the raised areas.
Sprinkle embossing powder over the entire piece.
Heat set with a Heat Tool.

The powder sticks only to where you’ve added the ink and embossing powder — highlighting all that gorgeous texture.

PRO TIP: Metallic powders look especially stunning here.
